"Our love story wasn’t so perfect. When Jarvis and I first met I couldn’t stand him. It was an automatic no new friends zone, 'Don’t look at me or talk to me' type thing. It was completely opposite for Jarvis though, he thought the world of me and I just couldn’t understand why because I was always so mean to him. After months of Jarvis trying to befriend me, he finally said something that I actually thought was funny. That was the little spark that started a new beginning for us. You meet people who you instantly connect with and you think, this could possibly be my husband/wife. Well that wasn't the case with Kametrice & Quinton. They began their love journey in 2008 while still in high school. A daily walk around the block became a love story in the making. Love licks and all night phone calls brought these two together.
Several months ago one of my best friends decided to "pop the question" to his girlfriend and she said YES!! Not long after that tho he presented me with a unique challenge. He wanted to create a love story video that told how they met in a visual way but he wanted it to be very similar to a series of bible introduction videos that can be found here:
Several months ago I was privileged to do their engagement session and we had such a great time! Basically we spent a nice Sunday afternoon shooting pictures while drinking wine in the garden at the Old Capital Inn, which is an elegant bed and breakfast hotel located in Jackson, MS. It's also a wonderful place to have a wedding and reception too! You can see some of the images from that engagement shoot at the bottom of this post.
